Rotate 2 windows Simultaniously

If anyone has ever used the Compare Geometry command in SW Utilities, you know that after the analysis is complete, there are 3 windows tiled on the screen. You can then rotate, zoom, pan, etc. from any one of these windows, and all of them will do the same, until you close the analysis window.

I was wondering if anyone knows of some sort of macro or utility that will essentially do the same thing with 2 tiled windows, without having to go through the Geometry Compare analysis.

Forgive me if i am misunderstanding what you wish to do, but cant you just split the view window and use the "linked views" option? you don't get two separate tiled windows, but the affect should be the same. can you clarify?

PS - yes i think what you are proposing is possible. but i also think that it would be difficult because you would have to take the transform of one window to calculate the transform of the other window.

Mr. Who,

Splitting a view window gives you 2 views of the same part. I wish to have

2 different parts open in tiled windows that rotate, zoom, etc. synchronized with one another.

Use the Compare Geometry command in SW Utilities (if you have it) to see what I am talking about. You should quickly realize how beneficial this could be if you have 2 very similar parts (i.e. 2 revisions of the same part). This is essentially what I want to be able to do, without having to go through the Compare Geometry analysis.

I know synchronizing 2 separate windows like this can be done, since SW is already doing it inside this tool (they actually do 3 windows though). I'm wanting to know if anyone has figured out a way to do it outside of this tool.
