saving dxf and dwg from sollidworks assembly

Hi,

Can anybody suggest me the best way to automate the process of saving a dxf and dwg file from a solidworks assembly?

I used the ACIS export and then importing it in DWGEditor (I don't have autocad). But I am unable to find a way to automate it as dwgeditor api dosen't offer the proper object. Any help is appriciated.

Task manager can batch export to .dxf/.dwg. I am a bit confused why you seem to be taking the hard road ( ie export to acis, import to dwg editor ), when file-save as- is a direct export to those formats, in your choice of versions even...

dxf & dwg can only be saved from a "drawing" [.slddrw].
