Is there a way to disable the popup that you get each time you place a SmartMate?
Also, SmartMates no longer seem to allow you to place two or three mates in one step like they did in 2003. For example, in 2003 I could click a circular edge of a screw and the mating circular edge of the hole it goes into and I would get two mates: coaxial and coincident. How do I get this functionality back?
I wonder if this was fixed in SP1.0? The popup dialog was indeed frustrating, but it doesn't seem to appear anymore. Smart mate from circular edge works as well.
Instead of smartmates I have been using alt-dragging, which is much better than smartmates was, I.M.O.

I'm running 2004 SP1.0 and I still get the popup and am unable to do multiple mates with one action. Is there a setting for this somewhere. I dug around with no luck.
ther is a "show pop up tool bar" check box as you do the mating in the FMT. i agree i liked the mate situation in 2003 it has taken some getting used to in 2004 but i feel i am moving just as fast now as before after only a few days
