Anybody else on the email list for this?
So that's what's happening with Solidworks. Trying to become Autodesk
The more likely senario is DWGeditor may not be able to read DWG files properly and is corrupting them.
We've had issues where contractors are sending AutoCAD drawings and DWGEditor is missiing lines and entire sections of the drawing. Opening them up in our old legacy seat of AutoCAD 2006 views the same file fine.
We've had an unusual number of AC files going south on us. Use to use AutoCAD for 12 years before switching to SW.
Haven't been able to verify but I have my suspicions.
