Solidworks user gets job that uses Solid Edge-Help!

I've been a SW user since 2001, I really like it.......I am working as a consultant doing 3-d modeling/design and graphics. I have a new project where they are using SolidEdge V17.

I've had a chance to get familiar with SE-17 and find it very cool, but damn..........I can do the same stuff with Solidworks!

Anyone else been faced with a similar situation? Suggestions?

Thanks..........I'm not complaining, really......I mean getting to design cool stuff with either program is a blessing, and I mean that!

Cheers, Brad

I would take it as an opportunity to further my career by adding another cad system to my rote. Experience the learning curve with their understanding that you are not familiar with that cad.

Brad, I'd like to hear what you find - pro's and cons between SE and SWKS.

(I've always been fascinated by SE, but appart from reviews know little about it.. except - made by UG, who do high end NX and also supply the Parasolids kernel to solidworks, who are owned by Desault who own the rival acis kernel ;-)
