sw to igs

Is there a low cost translator out there that will translate a solidworks native file to a solid igs file???

In SW, there is "save as IGES". HIH JM "Gilbert Pence" a écrit dans le message de news: M2BOa.17653$ snipped-for-privacy@kent.svc.tds.net...

one method might be to set up a relationship with one of the underemployed designers that lurk in this group... anybody with a copy of SW should be able to do the conversion for you at a minimal cost....

Otherwise, I think you'll need to spend the big $$ to buy a seat of SW, or convince your vendors to send the files in a format you can read

Gilbert,

What system are you trying to read it into. Is it a CAM system ? If so which one ? Many new systems read Solidworks files directly.

Mark

Gilbert,

I sent you an E-mail
