I have been asked by my company to create a web page that clients are able to search for and order spare parts. I understand that Visual Manufacturing enables you to publish things to websites
Has anyone performed this before? any help will be appreciated

You could also use a VB.NET/ASP.NET application to create the catalog and web site. Use VB.NET to put pointers to the EDrawings in a database or folder structure, then use ASP.NET to design a web app. to browse them.
