Well after waiting 30 yrs I have gotten my own room for trains. It is not big, but will do. It is a 9X12 room. I started the bench work and hopefully will be laying some track in April. I have posted some pics on what has been done so far at:

I also started in a 9' x 12' room and it gave me a lot pleasure over the years. I see that you've also started a very fine clamp collection! I think I have more clamps than I have locos :-)

HO scale. I have been collecting trains for about 30 years, but have never had a place to put a layout indoors. I also have a garden rail road out side 1:22 -
