The story I heard on the rainbow was that the dust in the air bubbles actually passed through the water filter with little of it being trapped. They acutally did poorly when running against true HEPA filters. The real trick is to blow the vacuum exaust outdoors. All you have to filter out then are the chuncks which would foul the impeller.
