John H. Armstrong died July 28, 2005. His family graciously opened his home for a last layout tour of the Canadigiua Southern Railroad Company on October 2, 2005.

Thanks very much for posting the link. I think John's design book was the second model railroad book I purchased. I've "seen" parts of the layout through articles but this is great.

I had the pleasure and honor of meeting John Armstrong and seeing his railroad back in 1980. I've always admired his work. Of course, I've worn out his books over the years. John was an inspiration for all of us.
