The latest issue of MR indicates that Model Power's Metal Train F7s are "DCC Ready-Plug and Play". I'm curious to know what your impressions of these models are - do they compete well with Athearn's line of F units? How about the DCC implementation - are they using an 8-pin NMRA socket?
