Model Power N 4-6-0 - opinions?

I think I saw this topic a few weeks ago, but didn't pay attention. So all of you you have some experience with this lokey, kindly forgive my laziness, and tell me what you think of it.

thanks.

Looks pretty decent, I had one from the first batch I had to send back to MP because it ran like crap. After waiting three months (although I must say they sent out a form letter apologizing for the delay, so mine wasn't the only bad one they had out..) I got a very much improved replacement. Better pick up arrangement, better motor better gearing. Runs real nice by itself. Unfortunately it can't pull worth a damn. Won't pull 4 Model Power Heavyweights (with Micro-Trains trucks) up a 2 1/2 % grade... But then, nothing ever made (or rather sold) by Model Power could pull anything

Sorry, mistyped. Thanks, Franz, for the input on the 4-6-0 -- will keep it in mind.

TIA.

Didn't even notice the typo.. It's a Pacific though.. Looks real nice, I must admit, quite an improvement over my old Atlas/Rivarossi Pacifics. In fact Model Power claims to have a Mikado out sometime soon; and I'm considering getting one (with a Vandy tender no less) I'm building a new layout with gentler grades, so it should be o.k.

MP's 4-6-2 runs well... I got the first run, and it still works well, only to be shorted out (due to user error in re-installing the tender axles)... im working on getting a replacement. But i thought i'd pitch in - I've had mine for almost a year now, and it pulled my 45 car ore train by itself, and also pulled my con-cor BN hockey stick scheme 8 car passenger train for about 4 hours nonstop the day i got it. It's a nice runner, and I'm not complaining. After i get it repaired, im going to convert to DCC and have fun with it :)
