N: Wheels of time SP gallery cars

Anyone out there have a string of these cars? I have four of them, and cannot keep them on the rails for the love of pete. They have Micro-Trains couplers.



I tried adding half an ounce of weight to the interior, 1/4 ounce right over each truck. Didn't improve the situation.



I don't have this problem with Con-Cor Superliners or any of the Athearn Bombardier commuter cars.



Anyone want to suggest anything? (Hah, BESIDES packing the string of czars up and mailing them to ya...)

No solution but I'll add that I've got the same problem with the cars. I like the looks but the operation leaves a lot to be desired. The cars were my first W-O-T purchase. Maybe my last...

I seem to recall someone saying that WOT advised to loosen the truck screws a bit because over-tightening could cause the couplers (truck-mounted) to deflect downward, which would cause the trip pins to foul on the turnouts.

Haven't had that problem....just that the cars like to derail where no cars have ever derailed before.
