On the white 57' mechanical reefers, why the different color espee logos ?
Does the color mean anything, or did the guy in the paint shop just have fun with people like me ?

You should probably post this to the ESPEE group on Yahoo Groups. Basically the people at PFE use slightly different schemes at different times. There is a large and expensive book that does document all of these things and more. You can find a good many examples on my web site:
