Just a reminder that the Amherst Railway Society's Big Railroad Hobby Show in West Springfield, MA is just a few weeks away. If you've never been there, I'm sure you'll find a lot to do or see between all the dealers, manufacturers, displays and over 30 layouts!

If you're there, I hope you'll stop by the City Classics tables to say hello.

manufacturers,
Only if we get free goodies, right? I mean, otherwise, what would be the point? LOL (ooh, I'm sooo bad...) Seriously, I wonder what they are going to do to us this year? Last year, the fire dept. demanded wider aisles which screwed everything up, and now with Stewart gone, and MDC now a part of Horizon/Athearn... Well, it'll be interesting as always. So far, the worst part is that the hotel we had reservations for months for is suddenly going through a giant re-modelling project, so they've comp-ed us in Enfield, CT... 10 miles south. Great...as if getting up early enough wasn't already a problem, now we have to commute...

Really looking forward to it. Last year was the first year I attended, and I was in blown away by just how big this show is. I never gave model railroading much thought, but made up my mind that day to build my own layout. Now my goal is to have trains running by the show {only a year later}. see ya there!!!!
