Wreck on the Plywood Central!

Running two trains on the 4x8: the Pennsy FOM set on the O-42 loop and McDonald's fast freight on the inner O-31 loop. Well the RealTrax popped a joint and the McD boxcar and Archer-Daniels-Midland tank car doubled up and almost sideswiped the crack passenger train on the outer loop. Both trains went into emergency. No one was hurt, but there are a lot of upset and hungry passengers milling about. Time to call in the security forces before they break into the raw hamburgers and fries!

Anybody know the 800 number for Hulcher?!?

What did the seal have to say about it?

Dear Sir, I couldn't help but notice how close the seal's pond is to the tracks. Do you think this broken joint was caused by water seeping into the roadbed and undermining the track? Perhaps some drains should be installed.

He's not talkin' unless you throw him an anchovy.

Thanks for all the advice! The seal was mum about the whole thing. The pond will be drained and checked for leaks, and the roadbed tamped and raked.

I would send for Sir Reginald Opus, KCSC, MC, Colonel-in-Chief, Queen's Royal Penquin Fusiliers. to take care of the seals. Gene ABV61-1043.001.HCB
