Why? They're bloody awful. I've thrown all of mine away - no sense cluttering the scrap box withy unusable junk.
Plug the bolster hole with a bit of plastic sprue, file flat, drill for a screw, and install real trucks. Trash those "horn-hook" couplers, too - they look bad, and are just barely functional. Mount KD-5 or equivalent couplers on the body. AHM cars were built with correct bolster heights, so a KD-5 with box isntalls at the correct height.
Most of the AHM cars have decent bodies. The boxcars PS-1 style were made by Roco and are very nicely done. Well worth reusing. Just not with those terrible trucks/wheels.
