My Lister A A28S spec has a lid that slides on to stop the water slopping out of the hopper, it was supplied to the MOD to be carted about on the back of bowsers (according to the expert Dave Edgington) even got a re-print of SE with a picture.
Got the lid with the engine no problem; a little rod with a thread on, pokes up and goes through a hole in the lid to keep it on - but the knob is missing.
No chance of finding one perhaps, but has anyone got enough info (drawing or measure one, whatever) so I can have a go at making one please ? Have got the parts list and instructions but that doesn't help.
Going to Enstone this week, perhaps there.
