Good evening everyone, at the moment I am loking for a Lister CS 6hp diesel with the intention of driving a generator to charge a bank of batteries running through an inverter to power our house, the beauty of this project is that it can be run on virtually any type of waste oil, purchased a BKB starter/ generator off ebay the other week Serial No.B6456, 2.5Kv,PH-1, 230VOLTS, 10.8Amps at 1500rpm with a Stuart Turner control box serial No.34747, could anyoneplease give me any information on these items please, the whole assembly is in basically good condition, just a siezed bearing on the pulley end from standing, no residual burning smell that hangs around for years and the commutator and slip rings have no signs of wear on them, hope to hear from someone in the near future and will keep you all up to date with the project, I live in Wootton Bassett / wilts if anyone is near and doing the same type of project regards to you all Nigel Cox
