Model Engineer mag's

Jul 19, 2003 0 Replies

During a shopping trip today we picked up a load of Model Engineer magazines, mainly 1955/56/57 but two from the 1940's as well.

The 1957 copies have a series of articles on a small horizontal IC engine, the November 1955 issue has Edgar T Westbury describing his tiny 15cc gen set that he designed for the Ministry of Supply, and an advert in the April 1956 issue has a company in Aldeburgh selling new Royal Enfield power packs with fuel tank and carrying frame, new, for £17-10-0d with carriage at 0-17-6d.

Fascinating stuff !!
