OT; but amusing

Gentlemen,

There is always someone worse of than you, by yesterday my boss was about to commit hari kari. Monday one engineer went to Italy for training another flew early to Edinburgh for the day. He arrived but his tools didn't so waited until told by Easy Jet they were still in Luton so he flew back.

Yesterday he was on his way to Luton to go back up to Edinburgh for another go heard on the radio about the problems discussed with boss and decided to drive instead, got caught up in a Road accident on the A14 and sat for 2.5 hrs. Finally made Edinburgh at 5:00 pm. In the mean time his wife got run into the rear of here car by two separate drivers in one day. He arrived at customer at 8:00 am this morning to find Parcel Force arrived yesterday at 4:30 pm a day early to collect some equipment and specialist meters that he was supposed to use today. He is currently on way home as I write this. Our engineer in Italy arrived at the airport yesterday to be told he could fly home Sunday if he was lucky. Today he is currently in the air to a different airport and then has to get to Heathrow to collect his van. I went to Dublin Wednesday night and arrived at the Airport for my return flight home yesterday lunchtime to find total and utter chaos, I arrived home late last night.......... as I said there is always someone worse than you somewhere and if you didn't laugh about it you would end up in the funny farm.

We had a reasonable run up to Scotland, left 4.45am and got back 18.45pm, about

720 miles in all inluding meal and fuel stops. Roads were quite good, especially early on, but we heard about the airport situation as the day progressed.

If you think that's bad you should try working at Luton Airport, the last 2 days have been a laugh a minute
