This is for my interest only but what speed up and down load are you getting with your broadband.
The Gadget Show on Channel five are running a test, my max so far is 2.6Mb download and 373Kb upload. I would be interested to know yours.

Hi Martin, your speedtest.net site gives me 3934 download & 336 upload at the moment. I do pay Virgin cable for 4 MB & many times lately we are being robbed by slow speeds Sometimes only a quarter of what we are paying for!.
If your BB connection is through a BT line and uses the BT network (i.e not LLU equipment in the exchange) then try
It will give you your maximum data rate profile and actual data rate. Note that the data rate profile is not the synch rate of your BB connection.
