hiya im trying to find a PETTER A, govenor mechisum,
most of you may know what i mean its the thing that connects to the shaft and has two brass lugs that spin and press the pin out the engine casing, i can show pictures of the remains of mine if it will help you to determine what im after,
if not any ideas, also if anyone can please may i have the part numbers may make it easier to locate these parts, Martyn

Martyn, Chances of find parts via part no is slim as this engine stopped manufacture many years ago, your best bet is farm sale or enstone sale or Stationary Engine magazine in the wants or for sales.

If its the type that is all part of the bronze magneto gear then I fear Martin is right. If its the separate ally housing with the governer mechanism and magneto coupling then I may have one in the depths of a shed. regards
