Re: Copper fittings etc

Gentlemen,

If you want Imperial OD tube & compression fittings, a bottled gas supplier or marine chandlery, especially a canal chandlery, is a good place to start. Bottled gas stuff in the UK is still mostly Imperial sizes. Copper olives are a requirement for LPG connections, brass is more common for fuel lines etc though copper generally works perfectly well. If you want Metric in 10mm & up, maybe also 8mm, try a plumbers' merchants. If you want conical soldered nipples, there are a couple of specialist suppliers sevicing the collectors'/vintage car market.
