Re: Where can I get a cheap D-type

Hehe I was just wondering if there were any sales soon? I saw a sale once in a copy of SE mag where there were hundreds of D-types, some going for like £15. :)

Lister D prices genuinely do start at zero. Probably the best places for the real cheepies are club bring and buys and farm dispersal auctions. I recently passed on a dismantled but substantially complete example to a fellow club member for £10 - and that included £8 worth of new head gasket!

I find the auction at Honiton Hill on BH Mon is a good place for stuff. No idea what is going to turn up and some prices are silly (high) but some prices are silly (low).
