What a wonderful weekend, brilliant showground with a bit of everything going on. Can`t wait for next year, if you din`t make it, can highly recommend. Nice to meet a few people to put names to faces, so to speak. Sorry forgot the camera in all the rush to get the engines ready, but it was worth it, as all who were there will know. For me, two little insignificant engines, two trophies, over the moon, nuff said.(must be doing something right !!!!)

Martin,

Myself and my dad spoke to you briefly (the ones with the remains of that Bamford exhaust !!), your engines were looking good. How much petrol did you use in the end ??!

Yes, it was very good this year as always. Some re-organisation of the field had taken place with what seemed like a lot more stalls and commercials in particular. The working displays are always very interesting. Luckily the weather held off yesterday to make it a good day. I took a few photos which may appear on the website in the future.

Hope you enjoyed the weekend, it certainly is worth the distance travelled, one of the bigger and better shows up here. Next weekend we will be going to Selkirk for a look round, went last year for the first time, quite a good show as well. Regards David
