I've just collected a Stuart Turner dynamo & control box after buying it on e-bay.

Although the vendor said he'd electrically started it from a battery & that it charges, I'm less sanguine when I notice that the cables have all been cut short under the box and a single piece of three core household cable now connects it to the dynamo.Before I set to, does anyone have a simple wiring diagram for these units?
Yes, it is a Villiers Mk 15 OHV engine driving it & this brings very much to the fore the conversation on another thread here. Is this a legitimate conversion? Should it be restored by finding it the correct engine?
The paint is borderline but might well clean up OK - I'll let you know next week.
