Does anyone know how to find out the model of Lister diesel engine I have, it's a 3 cylinder don't know much more at the moment.

Hopefully, somewhere on the engine, there will be a small brass plate which will have details of the model and serial number. if that is missing, then with Lister engines, the serial number was usually stamped on the flywheel rim (flat face where a belt could run) opposite the keyway. Given a serial number, somebody here will probably be able to help.

Give us some more clues - air cooled, water cooled, what was/is it driving, internal or external injectors and/or injector pumps, even what colour might help. Where does it say 'Lister'? How big?
