When fitting Kadee couplings to a Bachman loco or wagon should the Bachmann mount that holds the original coupling be glued into a fixed position or left flexible. Any help on these couplings would be of some help. Thanks Paul

I have left them flexible and had no problems.

Kadee couplings are intended to be mounted in a horizontally flexible mounting. The amount of flexibility should basically only be sufficient to allow for coupled couplers of dissimilar length vehicles to meet without undue sideforces being generated.
