Paul, it is simple ;-) With the 08 and day/night running light kit on class 60 you need to change the functions so they all work independantly rather than directional, so here goes:
Lenz 4 function decoders setup instructions First check the decoder you intend to use is capable of supplying 4 functions, examples being LE1025 A/E and the new LE1035 A/E. After installing the lighting kit and decoder place the loco on the programming track, select programming on the programming track via the handset. (F8) Enter CV mode and check the CV settings match the table below. (these are example settings output C and D can be set to any function button from F2 to F8) CV 51 Bit 1 Set to on This sets function output A to F0 and B to F1 (F0 white and F1 yellow wires from decoder) CV 54 Bit 2 Set to on This sets function output C to F2 (Green wire from decoder) CV 55 Bit 3 Set to on This sets function output D to F3 (Purple wire from decoder) When setting the above CV's switch all other bits at each of the 3 CV's to off These instructions are intended as a guide only, please consult your Lenz manual.
