Probably the easiest way would be to run the layout with DCC, and then use one of many control programs out there. I know you can do it with Digitrax, as that's how I plan to control things in the future, not sure about other manufacturers

I think you'll find there's an awful lot of *very* useful information on Steve's various websites, which incidentally, despite the many unpaid hours which go into making them available, are provided free of charge for the benefit of anyone who takes the trouble to use them.

I wonder if any of Steve Jones' critics on here have made any similar useful contributions towards the advancement of the hobby?
