My dad has a decent LGB Multi Train G scale setup in the garden but unfortunately due to arthritis in both his knees he can no longer maintain it all. A shop has heard about his collection (which is all in very good condition) and offered him £2500 for the lot but he doesn't know if this is a fair price or not.
He has sent me a list of all his setup which I can send.
What I would like to know if at all possible is whether the offer from the shop is reasonable or not, since although it will be heartbreaking for him to sell, he would be at least able to use the money to develop his 00 setup which he can then continue to enjoy.
