Ok Is there a ready to go water torch that will fit my lincoln 185 tig or do I go with an adapter so I can use a cheaper water cooled tig torch. Let me here your ideas and experiences on this subject Thanks, G

Lincoln, CK Worldwide, and Weldcraft all make adapters for mounting a water cooled torch on small transformer machines.
You can simply remove the cover from the connector on your existing torch, and bolt a standard water-block to the side. This will do the same thing as an adapter.
A water-block is how you connect a standard water cooled torch to a big TIG machine. It is a chunk of brass with a large female left-hand threaded socket on one side for the main power lug of the TIG torch, and a smaller left-hand threaded socket on the other side for the water return hose to the pump. On the side of the block is a tab with a 5/8" hole for connecting to the power lug on your TIG.
