Extended Gas Nozzle

I ran a cross a reference somewhere about an extended gas nozzle for a spool gun. They touted it as a way to reach into close quarters to make a weld. I can't imagine how that would work unless it also included an extended length tip to match. Anybody have any experience with this? There is one location on my current project where I would like to double weld from both sides where I have a band-aid weld on the outside. The seam is filled on the inside most of the way, but no matter how I hold my gun I can't get a good angle on the last couple inches. Its probably not critical, but its comes up to a hard corner, and stresses seem to magnify at hard points. The regular gun could reach in there, but I am not crazy about running aluminum down that long hose. I have enough trouble keeping everything going right with the spool gun.

I have seen those for older spoolguns. They do use an extended contact tip.
