Propane oxygen cutting

Make sure you use the correct tip. An acetylene tip will not work. I tell my propane tips apart from the others as they are a 'two piece' design.

Oxy/Propane

1/4" steel. #0 tip 5 psi Propane 20-30 psi Oxygen 1" to 1-1/4" standoff from tip to metal

I have the right tips. No problem there.

I was unsure of the gas mixtures.

As I understand this. The propane is set at about the same as the acetylene is about the same, maybe just a few PSI richer. The propane is about 10 PSI leaner?

Gas pressures are for hose lengths up to 25?. Increase pressure for longer lengths of hose.
