I need it in 10" lengths. (for a new product)I can cut it to length myself.
I'm not ready to buy large quantities from a supplier. Thought there might be someone out there with a lot of scrap-I could buy small quantities to start. Will pick up.

Check at the local hardware store for keystock. I use that quite often and it's only about $1 per stick a foot long. (Low carbon cold-rolled)
When you're ready to buy in bigger quantities, check with steel service centers. It's sometimes a matter of how big quantities you'll buy at once whether they'll carry small stock or not. At least it is around here. Akron OH.
