welding titanium

Let's say if I acquired a "real" titanium muffler.

Can I use a MIG to weld it to steel piping?

If not how do you recommend joining it? Slip fit and clamp?

No. You can't weld titanium to any other metal, espeically with a MIG machine.

Physically clamp it to the other tube.
