Waterloo metal workbench - opinions please?

Hello group.

I'm thinking of buying a metal workbench. Came across the Waterloo Industries model WB3020 in our local Canadian Tire store:

It seems sturdy enough. This bench comes with a 1 1/4 inch thick top.

What I also like is that you can add extra drawers. The drawers come in

2", 4" and 6" sizes. I was going to buy/build a workbench and then buy (yet) another tool cabinet. By adding the extra drawers to this bench I can kill two birds with one stone.

Anyone have any comments on the products from this company as to quality, etc.? Thanks in advance.

I have a Waterloo tool chest. It was cheap. It is also flimsy, one of the drawers barely works at all. If you do get the Waterloo workbench don't put Waterloo drawers into it.

I have an older Craftsman workbench that came with my 9" Logan lathe. It appears to have been made by Waterloo, and it is lightweight and flimsy also. I believe that Waterloo makes a better grade of products as well.

I have sold Waterloo chests in the past. They make a variety of qualities from Canadian Tire type stuff to professional...
