Bauer Model Aircraft Co.

Can anyone help me with locating the man or men who were the Bauer Model Aircraft Co of Howell Michigan back twenty five years or so ago? They made a kit of all spruce, birch and plywood called the Hardwoody. I'd like to find one of those kits..or the plans...or the people who made the kit... Anyone?? Thanks, Frank Schwartz

I saw your post on the same in rcuniverse.com. I'm not familiar with hardwoody or piney, but I do remember the Pilot Japanese kits of the late 60's and early '70s that used hardwood, I still have an unbuilt Cessna 150 C/L kit.

Why not make it from lead, it will be a lot more durable.

We mustn't forget the Spagthorpe Schneurle engine to power it.
