Cad Program

Does anybody know where I can download a good but free Cad program. Am thinking of doing a complete scratch plane. Any help will be appreciated.

This is a completely free 3D CAD/modelling program and is very easy to use. You can import DXF files into it too, such as produced by most CAD programs and with a bit of work you can then turn your 2D drawings into 3D models which you can also animate.

I've just been using it to help in the design of some retracts. It's a good way to spot potential problems with mechanical designs before you start to cut wood/metal, particularly if you're not wonderful at visuallising (sp?) CAD drawings in 3D.
