engine alignment

Anyone got any suggestions on how to correctly align the glow engine in its mount to allow for the torque? Thanks. Andy.

In a perfect world, the engine would be centered on the mount, and solidly anchored... Right or down thrust should be built into the firewall, and will vary depending on the type of aircraft and the size of the engine..

Cheers,

Go with a couple of degrees right and a couple of degrees down for a start. Varies by 'plane but unless the instructions say, this is a good starting point. Use some 6/32 washers between the mount and the firewall for right thrust and some 6/32 washers between the rear motor mount lugs and the mount for down thrust. Gord Schindler MAAC6694

That is good kit design and USED to be the standard.
