Fixed vs. fling wing

Aug 15, 2005 0 Replies

My curiousity for flying heli's is satisfied now, and decided my foamy fixed wings (Pigi, Uzi XL, & Revolution 3D) are a little more relaxing to fly :))))) Not to say there's not sweaty palms and dry mouth with them too, but I always felt one twitch away from disaster with a fling wing and the XRB is one of the most stable out there for beginners...

XRB SR Lama electric helicopter..... Barely 4 months old in excellant condition. Would be in new condition except I learned on the second flight not to cut power too much on descent when it was drifting towards a tree branch, had a tail strike, and cracked a brace on the tail boom (easily repaired with a bit of carbon rod and epoxy). Extra battery, motor heat sinks, battery extension, two boxes spare blades, plus all orignal stuff. Next thing to NIB... Such a deal!!! Cheers, Don
