I have a problem I am sure many of you guys share. My wife kicked my planes out of the house. So, I had a wood garden shed constructed of knotty pine (15mm pine planks) roofed with corrugated steel sheets. My concern is temperature.
I'd guess that the shed will reach a maximum temperature of 40 deg C (104F) in summer. Will my balsa planes be OK at those temperatures?
The good part is that now there are space for a few additional planes! :o)

I used to fly models in Arizona in 110 degree heat. No problems. You might have to reshrink the plastic covering, if you use it.

Thanks for the reply. So at worst I might have to reshrink the covering a bit from time to time? I'll fly most of the planes at least once per week so I'll notice if they loosen.
Why will they loosen? I thought heat makes the covering shrink?

Heat causes the plastic to soften and sag first before it shrinks. It's got to get pretty hot to shrink.
