One of the guys in our club figured out a new way to crash a plane flying
> with a neck strap. The one he uses clips to the transmitter with a buckle
> about one inch long. On this particular day, he was taking his Ultra Sport
> off, everything was going fine until he reached for the retract switch. The
> neck strap clip, instead of hanging vertical with the transmitter ring at
> the bottom, was horizontal. He was supporting the transmitter with both
> hands and didn't notice anything wrong. When he reached for the retract
> switch, the transmitter tilted and the clip slipped into it's proper place,
> dropping the transmitter about an inch. Since he flys with his thumb and
> fore-finger holding the aileron stick, the plane went into an aileron roll,
> right into the ground, re-cycling it back into kit form.
