what issue had power supply conversion

Who knows which issue of Model Aviation had the article on modifying a PC computer power supply for a 12 volt charger source?

Model Aviaton is not available here. May one inquire as to why that particular article is so important? The sites mentioned in the responses to your previous post provided good answers as to how to construct your own supply. refer also to:

"Battery care, Chargers & Power Supply." sub section: "Chargers" for:

PC Power Supply Conversion - Pat Harvey PC Power Supply - convert to power a 12VDC Battery Charger PC Power Supply Conversion (110/230 Vac to 12V )

all these methods work well but, given the low overall cost, I suggest the use of a heat sink type 10 Ohm 50 W resistor on the 5V lines rather than a glass bulb. regards Alan T. Alan's Hobby, Model & RC Links

Don't know, and the digital archives are offline and have been for some time now. Got a query off to Joyce about that.

Responses in your other thread have links to on-line articles. Cheers, Fred McClellan The House Of Balsa Dust
