Which plane next.

I am currently flying a Thunder Tiger Sport 40L and am building a Tower Fun 51. I still want another plane though. I am thinking of a P51 or a Gee Bee. At some point, I would like an Edge or Extra, but I want that to be a bit larger. For now, I am looking to stay with a 40 size. There are a bunch of P51s out there, but my concern is with getting good retracts that can handle a grass field. All while incurring a low enough cost that my wife will approve. The Kyosho Gee Bee looks pretty good also. Any suggestions between these planes or any I should consider? Thanks in advance.

I would go for the Great Planes P-51. Easy to build, fairly robust construction and flies like a dream. Scale looks are not too bad, either. If you want to make it even more scale, cut off about 1.5" off the rear of the fuselage sides and then move the stab forward so that the TE of the stab is even with the rudder hinge line. It has almost no affect on handling but is mych more scale looking. With a good .46 on it you will be the envy of your flying group.
