Dang nice workholding method

Shop I'm working at has a few of these:

They totally suck for thin stuff. Chip re-cutting. Even thicker work pieces require attention at times as chips can build up around the work and be re-cut.

They also use magnets to clamp molds in presses to. At first it's a bit un-nerving to see 10 ton mold halves hanging sideways off press platens with no clamps and setup guys underneath hooking up plumbing, but nobody has got squashed yet.

This totally rocks for thin stuff
