I've asked this question before.
I have a Envision flat screen monitor with a (very) dim screen - it starts normal and quickly vanishes.
A basic understanding may help me to repair this or schematics of this or another brand will help.
Any assistance will be appreciated.
Model number?
The most probable cause of this is that the backlight lamp(s) and/or power supply are failing.
sci.electronics.repair might be a better newsgroup for this.
