I recently tore down a HP pen plotter and kept all of the circuit boards, etc.
Anybody have a need for them? I contacted a few plotter vendors and they had no interest.
Quite a few heat sinks, large capacitors, transformer, I/O board, X-Y board, etc.
Will ship to anyone needing them for a nominal price. (Cover shipping charges?)

My suggestion is to forget it. I doubt that there is any industrial user that want that stuff. It is cheaper to buy new. You might find some impoverished hobbyist at best. They probably would not be willing to pay shipping.
Los Angeles, and I presume other cities as well will collect old electronic waste just so that it does not end up in land fill.

toss it. its not worth trying to repair most such devices as they are rapidly becoming obsolete and new ones often can be had for not much more than the cost of repairing an obsolete unit.
