So if you are really worried about it use encryption. Even if the encryption could be broken and there is no evidence to support that all algorithms can be despite the paranoia of some, imagine the resources needed to decrypt every message sent.

SprintPCS offers encrypted phones? Hehe... They like emails, but it's the phone conversations (wireless AND landline) that I have a problem with. It's all rumor, of course, but most that cite any formal knowledge of the system state that the damn thing is tied into the phone switches!

Why on earth would anyone expect absolute privacy on any mobile phone? On any telephone for that matter? An encrypted connection or transmission not withstanding to do so is really just naive.
